365 Cards: Day 179- White Space
Had to blow some of the layers of dust off of the poor, neglected blog and participate in a challenge!
I loved this white space sketch at 365 Cards...
I saw a great tutorial on Jennifer McGuire's blog on how to color butterflies with Copics. Now, I am not comparing this poor little butterfly to her masterpieces- I used Crayola markers and some butterflies that I found at momswhothink.com , but they did the trick for me!
I added a bit of glitter to the wings and glued just the body to the card- so the wings are free!
The sentiment is from the MSE Birthday set and the papers are from a package I got at Walmart a few years ago (threw away the packaging- sorry).
Hard to believe that the summer is coming to an end. It has been a busy one!
See you soon,
Chrissy

ReplyDeleteThat butterfly looks awesome-- especially with that touch of glitter!
ReplyDeleteThat little bit of glitter is the perfect finishing touch! Love your color combo! Thanks for the sweet comment you left on my blog! Have a happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an ADORABLE card Chrissy!!!! Thank you for your comment on my blog...I wanted to answer your questions about the Cri-kit pens...Unfortunatly with the Cricut you only have the option of using the short pens...and that's because the clearance you have is only high enough for the short mini pens...with the Lynx machine the door opens up allowing the clearance needed for a full size pen or marker.....I hope that makes sense.......
